OLMC Social Ministry

Pregnancy Outreach for Parents, Infants, and Children

The Pregnancy Outreach Office is a ministry to pregnant women,
throughout the prenatal period, and expectant fathers, who have chosen life
and need support in caring for their infants and children.

Support is provided in a number of ways, including:
free pregnancy screenings, maternity clothing, infant & children’s clothing
up to 24 months (2T), infant formula, diapers, some infant furnishings,
community resource information, and emotional support throughout pregnancy.

Callers to the HelpLine are invited to meet with volunteer office workers who are trained
to be listeners and helpers, and who give information and referrals of community agencies.

The HelpLine is Open:   Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm
The HelpLine Number:  757-870-3131
All calls are kept confidential.

How You Can Help

Volunteer in the Pregnancy Outreach Office

Parishioners can volunteer to help in many ways:

You can volunteer as little or as much as you like. The best way to learn about our ministry is to attend one of our dinner meetings. We meet the first Tuesday of every month (Sept. - May) at 6pm in Manion Hall. Please email Social Ministry if you are interested in checking us out or receiving more information.
